/Aroundsquare Announces Partnership with Trees for the Future
Aroundsquare is pleased to announce a new partnership with Trees for the Future. Since 1989 Trees for the Future has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and country programs, TftF has empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations.
As a partner, Aroundsquare will provide ongoing support to TftF's tree planting programs, seeing to it that a new tree is planted for every set of Goodwood Deconstruction Blocks sold. Aroundsquare is proud to kick off this partnership with a donation to TftF which will enable the organization to plant 2,500 new trees.
Aroundsquare cares deeply about the environment. Our Goodwood blocks are made from a sustainable wood source--plantation-grown rubber wood, harvested at the end of its productive cycle. As such, this new partnership is not offsetting a bad practice, but rather, is contributing to the replenishment of our planet's tree stocks. We're not paying off a debt. We're contributing to the global wealth.
These environmental initiatives complement Aroundsquare's many other activities which support a better world through education and play. These include charitable donations for childcare and educational institutions, preferential pricing for benefit-driven organizations, and a variety of other community activities.
Aroundsquare is proud to be a Certified B Corporation, and a member of REAP Business Association. We partner with other responsible businesses wherever we can. This includes working with Bullfrog Power to power our office by wind-generated electricity, and partnering with Riley Life Logistics for responsible warehousing and fullfullment.
