Everyman OS Hardcore - 3D Printable Everyman Begleri
Everyman OS Hardcore - 3D Printable Everyman Begleri
This free download includes the 3D printable files for an open-source (OS) version of the popular Everyman begleri. Aroundsquare is making this design available for free to the community as part of, in the continued efforts to help grow the begleri community and put good quality, high performance begleri in the hands of as many players as possible. The download is an .stl file, which should serve the purposes of most 3D print hobbiests, and should be workable for any go to 3D print shop. What's special about this version of the Everyman OS is that it is Hardcore Compatible, meaning it has been designed with a round bore in the bottom that accommodates the beads of Aroundsquare's Hardcore Gut System.
The Everyman casings are designed to house up to three Micro Hydras, any of the Micro Standards, or the End Cap beads, and accommodate the same 275 paracord used in the original Everymans (you may need to re-drill the holes to fit the cord through). Print outs will vary, and if your first print feels a bit tight for the hex nuts, upsize it by 5% or so.
In February 2017, Aroundsquare introduced the Everyman begleri, with an innovative new bead design drawing on key characteristics of the popular Titan and Hydra series. The Everyman series, along with the Titans and Hydras, have already become established as well-known reference standards against which other begleri are compared, and is available in a variety of weights and materials, with configurable internals. Aroundsquare is proud to now make this same basic design freely available for players and enthusiasts to print or adapt for their own use. The design has been adjusted slightly in both size and shape to make it suitable for commonly available 3D printing materials, and to make it relatively straightforward to print. Many thanks, and a great deal of respect to Alexander German for his support in the development of the model and prototypes.
The Everyman OS design, like all AO2 content, is available under creative commons: CC-BY-SA. The will also be available over at Thingiverse soon if you don't want to enter billing info to download here.
